The annual meeting of the Union Township Advisory Board was held, as required by Indiana Code, to elect officers of the board. Dan Montgomery was elected president and Jim Sanford was elected secretary.
I introduced Beth Tiefel, who will be my clerk and designated trustee in my absence, and I also announced that Eileen Sims will be our attorney.
Our next full business meeting will be Tuesday, January 16th, at Union Elementary School at 7 PM. There are a lot of issues facing our township and we really need public participation and input on the front side of issues rather than after the fact. I hope you can make the meeting, your input is so important!
